Kent Goat & Sheep walk experience
Goat & sheep walking is available to anyone wishing to experience the fun, as well as our glamping & camping guests.
We offer walks suitable for children under 11 years old (or nervous people) guided by Uncle Carrot our gentle Golden, Sprite our only doe goat and Kerbie and Klaus our Valais Black Nose Sheep.
Walks for 11 years and over can include all goats and sheep.
In April another 2 baby boys will arrive.

Goat Herding/Keeper Holiday
During the quieter winter months why not come and stay on the farm and spend many interactive hours with our fabulous goats. Book one goat walk hosted by us and thereafter you can take the boys for many crisp winter walks and then return to your cosy Shepherds Hut for a hot chocolate by woodburning stove or outside round the firepit.
You will really get to know their funny characters during your stay. Custard does like to play butt which can also include jumping up on his hind legs. It is all meant with love and no nastiness but confidence with animals is a must.
This is strictly for adults and very confident children over 1.4 average 12 years.
Certain dates will be restricted due to goat walks. Make contact before you book your hut to make sure dates available. Starting price £310 for a 2 night stay

Qigong & Taoist Yoga With Goats
Combining two passions of mine goats and energy work. Join a session of QiGong in beautiful valley or woodland scenery. Energise yourself with the abundance of Qi/Chi and bring peace and calm to mind and body. The goats will just hang with us foraging on the bushes and grass while you submerse yourself in the essence of cultivating Qi.

We’ll meet at our beautiful farm in the Kent countryside. Either myself, Mark or Ebony will introduce you to Custard, Mustard, Carrot, Parsnip, Yin and Yang, Sprite our fabulous goats & Kerbie & Klaus our Valais Black Nose Sheep
How our goaty story began – A feed customer of ours breeds goats for showing and milk and we found out the babies are removed from their mothers at birth and the males are surplus. I naturally wanted to take on the unwanted and so it begun. Custard and Mustard were the first to arrive on the farm in 2021 age 8 weeks. We found that they just loved being around us and coming for walks. We then began offering walks to our glamping guests.
A year on I knew there would be more unwanted males so I booked 2 more. This time a Golden Gurnsey, Carrot and a Saanan, Parsnip. They arrived 1st April 2022 at only 2 weeks old. They bonded with us straight away as their caregivers. I feel so much reward in taking these guys on and giving them a life to the full. By booking a goat walk you help keep them stimulated and also support their keep. NEW BABY BOYS ARRIVING EARLY APRIL.
When you book a goat walk your walk will be a private experience for your group only. They are not mixed public sessions so you get real quality time to enjoy them.
We’ll meet at our beautiful farm in the Kent countryside. I’ll introduce you to the goats and sheep. We’ll begin by walking them on the leads down the road until we enter the valley where they like to be let off and follow along side us. We’ll walk through our beautiful wild valley taking in the views and the wild flowers. You may see various birds including yellow hammers, skylarks and buzzards. The walk is leisurely as the goats will have lots of stops for nibbles along the way.
The goats are super friendly and you will see their fun cheeky characters. Being goats please be aware they may play butt, especially Crazy Custard and Yin. This is true goat behaviour hence why we’ve now had to raise the age.
Upon their field you you can give them brush too which they love and just chill with them.
The terrain isn’t suitable for normal wheelchairs but mobility scooters will do fine. If someone is in a wheel chair we can adapt to a smaller walk and more time in the field with them.
